I’m going to Lapland in Jan so am keeping fingers crossed to see the Northern Lights, it’s been such a long-time travel dream! I’m not much of a camper but I did sleep in a swag out near Uluru when I was in Australia and remember the stars being incredible out there without any light pollution.

It really is amazing the difference that light pollution makes and I’m sure there are many people living in the cities who simply haven’t realised just what is ‘up there’. Fingers crossed for you in Lapland!
